Otodus Obliquus - Fossil tooth - Authentieke Otodus...

Give a piece of prehistory as a gift! This real fossil shark tooth is about 60 to 50 million years old and comes from Otodus obliquus, an extinct mackerel shark and one of the earliest ancestors of the famous Megalodon. Otodus obliquus swam in warm prehistoric seas. He could grow over 9 meters long and hunted fish and the first marine mammals. The tooth was found in the phosphate layers of Khouribga, Morocco, one of the world’s best-known fossil shark tooth sites. The tooth is mounted in a stylish floating display case on a stand. It looks as if the fossil is suspended in the air. This allows it to be viewed from all angles and is ready to be placed on a desk, in a bookcase, or in a display cabinet.
