Vintage Biche de Bere long gold plated brutalist style necklace. The necklace is created from individual linked squares, each decorated with a patterne modernist design on it. The necklace fastens with an interesting square t bar clasp, which is signed Biche de Bere on the bar. For it's age in good vintage condition! Background: Nelly Biche de Bere is a talented French designer who has been professionally linked to Jean Paul Gauthier, Christian Lacroix and Karl Largerfeld. In 1980s she founded Biche de Bere jewellery brand which specialised in haute couture accessories. Her style is the combination of modernist, ethno and recycled object and details, which was a pioneering vision at that time.
