Zentralpersien, wohl um 1950–1960. Feine Korkwolle, Kett- und Schussfäden aus Baumwolle, teils mit Seidenanteilen im Konturverlauf. Mit dem original aufgenähten Stoffetikett der staatlichen persischen Teppichgesellschaft „Sherkat-e Sahami-ye Farsh-e Iran“ (mit dem kaiserlichen Löwen-und-Sonne-Emblem) sowie handschriftlichem Inventaretikett (u.a. Maße „242 / 140“). Ein meisterhaft geknüpfter, klassischer Repräsentant persischer Manufakturkunst aus der Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Das Innenfeld besticht durch ein leuchtendes, tiefes Ziegelrot, das von einem überaus dichten, elegant geschwungenen System aus floralen Ranken (islimi), gabelblattartigen Motiven und prachtvollen Shah-Abbasi-Palmetten durchzogen wird. Die Zeichnung folgt einer strengen, perfekt ausbalancierten vertikalen und horizontalen Symmetrie, die eine bemerkenswerte optische Tiefe erzeugt. Gerahmt wird das opulente Hauptfeld von einer breiten, elfenbeinfarbenen Hauptbordüre, die im Wechsel mit floralen Kartuschen und fein detaillierten Rosetten gemustert ist. Flankiert wird diese von schmalen Begleitbändern mit geometrisch-floralen Wellenranken auf dunkelblauem und goldenem Fond. Die außergewöhnlich feine Knüpfung aus edler, glanzreicher Korkwolle verleiht dem Teppich nicht nur eine samtige Haptik, sondern bringt auch die filigranen Konturen der Blütenmuster meisterhaft zur Geltung. Die Präsenz des originalen Stoffetiketts der Sherkat-e Sahami-ye Farsh-e Iran unterstreicht den hohen Qualitätsstandard und den musealen Sammlercharakter dieses anspruchsvollen Stücks. Retaining the original sewn cloth label of the state-owned Persian Carpet Company, "Sherkat-e Sahami-ye Farsh-e Iran," bearing the Imperial Lion and Sun emblem, together with a handwritten inventory label (including the dimensions "242 / 140"). A masterfully knotted example of mid-20th-century Persian craftsmanship, representing the finest traditions of Iran's carpet weaving. The field is distinguished by a rich, luminous brick-red ground, densely ornamented with an elegant network of scrolling floral arabesques (islimi), bifurcated leaf motifs, and magnificent Shah Abbasi palmettes. The design follows a rigorously balanced vertical and horizontal symmetry, creating remarkable visual depth and harmony. The sumptuous central field is framed by a broad ivory main border decorated with alternating floral cartouches and finely detailed rosettes. Narrow guard borders with geometric-floral vine scrolls on deep blue and golden grounds provide a refined and harmonious conclusion to the composition.
