Orange-Red Vanadinite on Barite Crystal Cluster A Moroccan vanadinite and barite cluster with a rich contrast of glowing orange-red, deep reddish-brown and pale ivory. Numerous lustrous vanadinite crystals cover the surface, their reflective faces creating points of light among the radiating barite blades. The layered arrangement gives this compact specimen a lively sculptural character. Pale barite provides a clear visual framework for the warmer crystals, making the piece an eye-catching accent for a mineral cabinet, desk or cabinet of curiosities. Presented on a transparent acrylic display stand. Approximate specimen dimensions: 6.5 × 5.6 × 4 cm. Weight: 155 g. Vanadinite is a lead chlorovanadate, Pb₅(VO₄)₃Cl, that crystallises in the hexagonal system.
