Onofre Alarcón (1969) - "Beyond the Blue Horizon" #172 - XXL NO RESERVE

"Beyond the Blue Horizon" Work #172 Technique: Acrylic on canvas Measurements: 90 × 130 cm Recommended stretcher: 80 × 120 × 3.5 cm Creation date: July 2026 Series: Memories of the Sea Unique piece Hand-signed and dated by the artist Certificate of authenticity included Comment "Beyond the Blue Horizon" invites crossing the boundary between reality and emotion. The vastness of the sky, the deep blue of the sea, and the chromatic explosion of the shore evoke the light and essence of the Mediterranean from a contemporary perspective. The lighthouse and the sails, barely hinted, guide the gaze toward an open horizon that symbolizes freedom, hope, and new beginnings. With marked textural richness and a distinctive expressive language, this work adds personality, brightness, and a strong visual impact, becoming a centerpiece for contemporary interiors, design spaces, and art collections. O.A. Unique and Original Work. Each painting is a unique creation, sent directly from my studio. I use high-quality acrylics and oils and innovative mixed techniques, including dripping, waxes, acrylic markers, ballpoint pens, rollers, brushes, and spatulas. This combination allows me to achieve distinctive strokes and textures that bring my works to life. To facilitate framing, each canvas includes an additional 5-centimeter margin on all sides. The edges are finished with a wrap-around coating, allowing the artwork to be appreciated in its entirety, whether framed with an American box or unframed. To ensure durability and protect colors from UV rays, each painting receives a high-quality satin varnish layer. The images are illustrative and may not represent the exact scale of the work, so it is recommended to carefully review the real dimensions indicated. Additionally, the colors displayed on screen may differ slightly from the original tones of the work; in person, it always looks better. Safe Shipping and Certificate of Authenticity The paintings are carefully shipped rolled, in secure packaging, to facilitate transport. Each shipment includes a printed certificate of authenticity signed by me, Onofre Alarcón (O.A.), confirming the exclusivity and originality of the work. About me: "I am a self-taught Spanish visual artist, living in Alicante, driven by an unwavering passion for creative freedom and spontaneous expression. My creative process nourishes from a relaxed and stimulating environment, where chill-out music accompanies me, allowing me to channel my energy and give my best in every brushstroke. I am especially drawn to the expressionist style, where emotion and subjectivity take center stage. Proximity to the Mediterranean has deeply influenced my work, leading me to capture the beauty and strength of the sea on numerous canvases. Additionally, rock art is a constant source of inspiration, and its primitive and essential lines are often reflected in my creations. I consider myself a constantly evolving artist, exploring new techniques and styles, with vast creative potential. Each work is another step in my artistic journey, pushing me to achieve new goals."
