All printed text is crisp with no visible loss, and there is no significant spotting, staining, or damage visible. The black stick hands match the indices perfectly, presenting a clean surface with no visible corrosion or bending. Case and Crystal The petite oval case features a gold-plated finish that displays honest vintage wear consistent with age. The stainless steel caseback exhibits typical surface scratching from wear and opening. The crown is signed with the Omega logo and shows noticeable tarnish, oxidation, and plating wear on its knurled edges and face. The flat acrylic crystal remains clear, showing only some light surface scratches visible under direct reflection, with no deep cracks or chips observed. Movement The watch is powered by the Omega Caliber 1070 manual wind movement, featuring engravings that read "OMEGA SWISS", "36290757", and "1070". The movement appears very clean, with its copper-colored plating remaining bright and free of obvious corrosion or deep scratches. The screw heads and jewels appear in good condition. Recording -5s-8s/day on the timegrapher, the movement is exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece. Strap The watch is fitted with a black leather strap featuring an alligator or crocodile pattern. It is completed by a gold-tone buckle signed with the applied Omega logo, which shows some plating wear and tarnish. This classic pairing perfectly suits the vintage character of the watch. Condition Good vintage condition. Supported by the recorded timegrapher result, the movement is performing very strongly. The dial and hands are exceptionally clean and well-preserved. The case and crown display moderate surface scratches, handling marks, and areas of plating wear and oxidation, particularly on the flanks, lugs, and crown face. The stainless steel caseback shows typical scratching, and the acrylic crystal bears light surface marks. Dimensions The case measures 15 mm (excluding the crown). Remarks This Omega Genève offers a highly attractive brushed champagne dial in fantastic condition. The miniature oval case and signed vintage buckle make it a charming and authentic representation of 1970s mechanical ladies' fashion. History The reference 511.454 Omega Genève is defined by its miniature oval case, measuring approximately 15 mm in diameter. To accommodate such a diminutive profile without sacrificing precision, Omega utilized the Caliber 1070, a 17-jewel manual wind movement specifically designed as a compact caliber for small women's watches. This model remains a wonderful example of the brand's dedication to elegant, purpose-built mechanical timepieces during the 1970s.
