List price = €1100 Designed in 1977 by Vico Magistretti, Atollo has been an icon for many years, one of the most widely recognized symbols in the design world, the archetype of the table lamp that won the Compasso d'Oro in 1979 and entered the permanent collections of major museums, revolutionizing the way we imagine the classic bedside lamp. The geometric shapes that compose it - the cylinder, the cone and the hemispherical shade - gave life to a decorative yet essential product; the hemispherical lampshade directs light downward onto the surface of the desk, creating an indirect and pleasant accent in the environment. Atollo 239, the medium-sized version of the family, is made in metal with a Black finish, and emits both direct and reflected light. The light sources are 2 dimmable LED bulbs up to 75W max with E27 socket, NOT included. Universal black dimmer included.
