OLUCE - Joe Colombo - Lamp (2) - Rare pair of lamps...

Pair of table lamps, model Miniflash (Series 222), designed by the famous designer Joe Colombo for Oluce. Prestigious 1990s version with a curved diffuser in precious Murano glass encased in blue cobalt and a cylindrical base in dark gray-painted metal (much rarer and harder to find as a coordinated pair than the classic entirely lacquered metal version). Feature: the glasswork is engineered to let light pass through and emit it in a unique way. When the lamp is turned on, the light traverses the glass layer, creating a warm, soft, and highly evocative lighting effect that highlights the stunning blue of the diffuser. An icon of Italian design that blends Space Age aesthetics with the magic of blown glass. Fully functional. Original bulbs included. Cables, plugs, and switches original to the era. Material: blue/white encased Murano glass, base in metal. Dimensions: Height 20.5 cm | Lampshade diameter 12.5 cm | Base diameter 9 cm Condition: The lamps are in vintage condition overall very good. For full transparency, one of the two lamps has a small chipped area inside one lampshade (visible only up close and well documented in the photos, which does not affect the stability of the glass or the object's aesthetics when placed or lit; we believe it is a factory flaw). Photos are part of the description. Marked on the base with the original label to confirm authenticity: "Oluce series miniflash max 1x40W" (see photo). They will be packed with extreme care (double box and protective bubble wrap for the glass) and shipped with tracked and insured delivery. Extra-EU customs duties payable by the buyer. #Made in Italy #Space age #Joe Colombo
