O Delgado - La pesca XL

La Pesca presents a seaside scene where a fisherman, wearing a blue-and-white striped shirt and protected by a light hat, holds his rods against a turquoise expanse of water. Around him, orange fish swim across the surface, while foreground vegetation introduces green nuances and small white flowers that add richness and contrast to the composition. The water occupies a large part of the work and is built with loose, rhythmic, expressive brushstrokes that suggest surface movement and light reflections. The intensity of blues and greens contrasts with the warm tones of the fish and the figure, creating a vibrant scene that conveys the energy and serenity of life by the sea. The composition combines a close-up view of the figure with a free interpretation of the landscape, where color and painterly gesture play a fundamental role. The fisherman, with his back to the viewer, invites you to contemplate the scene from his own position and to share the stillness of that moment. • Artist: O.
