--- History of the Work --- She looks neither at the spectator nor at the opponent. With her head slightly tilted, eyes closed, this warrior seems suspended in a moment of silence before the movement. Behind her face, the hilt of a saber appears, almost hidden by the extreme delicacy of the embellishments surrounding it. Her appearance deliberately creates a paradox. Her skin seems fashioned in ivory porcelain, slightly crackled, while cobalt blue flowers grow on her face as if they had been painted directly under the enamel. Her hairstyle becomes a spectacular construction made of flowers, botanical patterns and elements reminiscent of ancient Asian porcelains. The garment continues this transformation. The human body gradually disappears behind an accumulation of deep blue, white, landscapes and gold ornamentation, until it gives the impression that the woman herself has become a piece of porcelain. But behind this apparent fragility lies a warrior. The sabre placed on her back recalls that calm does not necessarily equal weakness. The figure does not need to adopt a fighting posture: her strength lies precisely in her mastery and stillness. The Silent Bloom thus plays on a central opposition of the PorcelainMuse universe: the fragility of the material versus the strength of what it represents. The flower can be delicate. Porcelain can crack. The warrior, she endures. --- Technique and Creation Process --- This work originates from an original digital painting, developed notably with the help of Photoshop and Krita. The artistic creation relies on digital work of composition, colors, textures, light and details, allowing the character and its universe to be built progressively. Once the creation is finalized, an artificial intelligence tool may intervene only in a technical phase of improving image definition, notably to increase resolution and reduce pixellation before transferring it to the physical medium. Artificial intelligence is also used as a tool for editorial assistance to structure and develop the detailed description accompanying the presentation of the work in this submission. Traditional motifs are reinterpreted in current compositions where characters, flowers, materials and symbols tell a new story.
