Authentic Japanese Knife Set (3-piece) – Satake Sword Smith (濃州正宗作) Offered: a stunning three-piece Japanese knife set in its original presentation packaging. This traditional set is crafted by the renowned Satake Cutlery (佐竹産業) from Seki (関市), the historic home of Japanese sword- and knife-making. On both the box and the blades lies the prestigious maker’s inscription 濃州正宗作 (Nōshū Masamune Saku), meaning "Made by Nōshū Masamune" as a tribute to the legendary swordsmith. The set is internationally known under the name Sword Smith, which is prominently displayed on the logo inside the lid. The knives are equipped with traditional light wooden handles (和ハンドル) with a contrasting black pommel. The set consists of three classic Japanese models: 1. Yanagiba / Sashimi Knife (柳刃包丁): The long, slender blade. This knife is specifically designed for slicing raw fish (sushi/sashimi) and meat in a single, smooth motion into ultra-thin slices. 2.
