The bezel insert is steel, not aluminum: it resists scratches, does not fade and ages with the case rather than before the case. The two-tone polished and blasted finish makes it legible in any lighting conditions. From the exhibition case back you can observe the Japanese automatic movement at work, with the Norton-custom rotor recharging with every wrist movement.
