NO RESERVE PRICE - Wonderful Pair of Onyx Heart-shape...

Wonderful Onyx stone pair of Heart-shaped & sphere on custom stands. Onyx is a type of gemstone that belongs to the cryptocrystalline form of quartz. It typically forms in the cavities of igneous rocks, especially volcanic lava flows, where silica-rich fluids deposit layers of quartz over time. This process creates the characteristic banded appearance that onyx is known for, with alternating bands of different colors. While black and white banded onyx is the most common, it can also occur in shades of brown, red, green, or other colors. Onyx is characterized by its fine texture and glossy, polished surface. It has a smooth feel and often exhibits a high level of translucency when properly cut and polished. The bands in onyx can vary in thickness and arrangement, ranging from straight and uniform to irregular and wavy, depending on the specific conditions of formation.
