The “Return to Tiffany” collection is among the best-known design lines of the venerable New York jeweler. Its history dates back to Tiffany keychains from the 1960s, which were stamped with an individual registration number and the instruction to return them to Tiffany & Co. in New York if lost. From this functional origin, Tiffany later developed one of its most recognizable jewelry motifs. The offered bracelet bears the characteristic engraving on the round pendant: "PLEASE RETURN TO TIFFANY & CO. NEW YORK 925" The bold, interlocking circular links give the bracelet the heavy, substantial look typical of this line. The large round pendant with a diameter of about 2.3 cm forms the unmistakable focal point of the design.
