Special Swedish modernist pendant in sterling silver, by Stig Nolin / Galleri 3. The pendant features a spatial, almost shell-like design. A convex silver disk flows into an open notch, in which a small cultured Akoya pearl is visible. Through the combination of the smooth rounded form, the open space, and the pearl, the design takes on the character of a stylized oyster shell. The pendant has been extensively hallmarked with, among others, the maker's mark NSG, 925 for sterling silver, the Swedish national silver hallmark with the three crowns and the date code T10, which corresponds to 1993. The pendant comes with a fine-cut gourmet chain in 925 sterling silver. The chain is about 1.1 mm wide and has a length of about 51.5 cm. The pendant is in good vintage condition. There are light signs of wear visible that are appropriate for age and use, but the piece is otherwise well preserved.
