No reserve price - Earrings - 18 kt. Yellow gold Carnelian

A stunning pair of vintage drop earrings from the early 1980s, kept in excellent condition. The earrings feature an elegant oval openwork setting in yellow gold (crafted according to Italian goldsmith tradition, tested as 18kt gold). The frames enclose two authentic, finely hand-carved cameos on natural shell (sardonyx/cornelian). The profiles depict refined classical female faces with exquisite details in the hairstyle and features. The back of the cameos clearly shows the natural growth lines and growth striations of the shell, confirming the piece's absolute authenticity and handcrafted nature. • Cameo oval dimensions: 20 mm height x 15 mm width. • Condition: Excellent. The shell shows no hairline cracks or signs of wear. The setting is intact and the post-and-butterfly closures are fully functional.
