Beautiful pair of pine wood frames modeled in the classic Salvator Rosa style, characterized by a deep box-profile with a brownish finish and gilded inner and outer profiles. Made by the renowned art workshop Cavalli & Poli, these frames combine the sobriety of natural wood with the brilliance of gold leaf on the edges, making them perfect for enhancing antique paintings, vintage prints, or decorative mirrors. Antique items in generally good conservation condition. They show slight and natural signs of time, with small nicks/peeling on the gilding along the outer edges (clearly visible in the attached photos), which confer an authentic patina of the era.
