Belonging to the 1990s generation, he embodies a new creative impulse that fuses classical technical heritage with a modern, urban sensibility. Education and Training Born in Vietnam, Lâm developed a rigorous mastery of oil painting at a very young age. Trained in an environment where technical discipline is paramount, he has learned to detach from it to explore a more instinctive path. His birth year, 1993, places him at the crossroads of Vietnam’s cultural opening, influencing his taste for globally iconic figures reinterpreted through a local, personal lens. Style and Artistic Vision Nguyễn Việt Lâm’s work is characterized by an expressive and textured approach to oil painting.
