Netherlands. 25 Ecu 1989 (No reserve price)

Beautiful Dutch silver coin / silver medal, which was hard to photograph because it shines so much and my old camera (and me!) were confused by the light effects! It also comes from my father's estate liquidation, who is glad that his ECU silver coins and medals are attracting so much interest. This piece here is one of the few minting errors with a SMOOTH edge. From the usual reeded-edge issue, 5000 pieces were minted according to the catalog entry; how many minting errors with a smooth edge there are among them is not noted. Not too many probably exist. This beautiful piece is thus a small rarity, and I am pleased to be able to show it here! Please also note the corresponding catalog entries. The ECU catalog is shown for orientation, but is not part of the offer. No shipping via DPD
