Netherlands. 2006 Muntmeesterset, inclusief witte omdoos (No reserve price)

The Dutch Mint Master Set 2006 is a luxury, limited collector’s set issued by the Royal Dutch Mint (KNM). This specific set forms the fourth and final part of the popular Coin Master Sets (2003-2006) which focused on historical merchant ships and maritime history. The central theme of the 2006 edition is "Value transport by sea between 1750 and 1795". The luxury red-brown wooden case is packaged in an illustrated cardboard box with an image of the Battle of the Dogger Bank. The set is struck in the highest collector’s quality (Proof) and includes: the 8 Dutch euro coins of 2006 (1 cent to 2 euros). A silver Coin Master Medal (Sterling silver 925/1000) weighing 31.1 grams (1 ounce) and an exclusive, numbered KNM silver baartje (Sterling silver 925/1000) weighing 11.5 grams. The silver baartje shows some patina.
