Nero 2, 43a

I have here another varied Nero package that may leave our collection. There are 4 comic books in first edition and 2 rare, unworn t-shirts neatly stored in PVC. No. 2 The Secret of Matsuoka, 1961. The album is in good condition with some localized stains. In the second part of the album there are a few very small matte stickers placed over tears next to the top staple, but in a very orderly way so that it is not distracting. The Nero Club 2000 t-shirt with an image of Matsuoka is extremely rare and was released in 2000. No. 43 The White Pearl, 1962, is the A-version of the first edition with Lodderhoofd as the last title. The album is fairly good with a clean book block, and it has, at the bottom right of the back, a stain with a drawing of the little figures. The Milky Way T-shirt with the image of Nero from The White Pearl was manufactured in 1997. It was specifically released for the Milky Way strip festival (the current Middelkerke Strip Festival) that took place from August 2 to 17, 1997. During this edition the celebration of Nero’s 50th anniversary and the homage to the spiritual father Marc Sleen were central. No. 48a The Bent 1964 is in good condition. Where Nero albums of that time had black-brown printing, this album also has a few blue-purple pages. At the back, upper left, there is a crease in the cover. No. 51 The Pipe Stickers 1965 is in very good condition with no notable remarks beyond the light and normal signs of use.
