Natural sodalite from Canada - Balances emotions and...

Long necklace of large oval beads of: - NATURAL SODALITE from Canada - VERY SPECIAL Style “Snow and cobalt”: Unlike ordinary sodalite (which is a blue block with thin veins), this variety offers an abstract pattern where the blue stands out as ink blotches on a light canvas. No two pieces are alike. Rare geology: The exact combination of sodium- and chlorine-rich magmatic fluids that create sodalite, mixed with the right amount of pure white calcite to achieve that speckled pattern, occurs in only a handful of mines across the planet. In the world of gemstones, this color combination (white and blue) has great meaning. The white background: Associated with purity, mental clarity, and truth. The blue specks: Represent logic, intuition, and communication ability. Together, they are believed to help balance emotions and calm thoughts in moments of high pressure or stress. The beads are strung on a cotton/silk blend thread with a knot in every piece. Mineral: NATURAL SODALITE - HIGH QUALITY Origin: Canada Color: White or pale variety with specks and patches of deep blue - NOT BLEACHED - UNTREATED - NATURAL Shape: Ovoids - VERY SPECIAL Piece size: approximately 18 mm Length: 86 cm - Can be worn long or doubled - LONG Hand-woven professionally with a knot on each bead Gift box and protective pouch The display bust measures 22 cm in circumference (not for auction) The photos are part of the description.
