Natural Rock Crystal Pendant – Sterling Silver – Raw...

atural double-terminated quartz — Silver pendant with a natural quartz crystal. Elegant pendant made in silver and adorned with a natural quartz crystal, deliberately left with an irregular morphology that preserves much of the mineral's original appearance. The crystal presents remarkable transparency, traversed by internal fractures, veils, growth planes, and natural inclusions that reflect light at different angles. The surface shows alternating clear zones and areas that are more complex and milky, creating an almost icy effect, rich in depth and movement. One of the most fascinating aspects of natural quartz is its internal structure: during crystal growth, thin discontinuities, microfractures, and growth surfaces can form, which when illuminated produce silvery reflections and occasional iridescent flashes. These elements are not defects but natural characteristics of the mineral. The stone has been set in a silver mount with a geometric and contemporary profile, designed to follow the irregular shape of the crystal without concealing its structure. The metal edge frames the quartz, leaving visible a wide portion of the surface, while the large upper pass-through enables wear with different types of chain. The result is a piece of jewelry that preserves the character of a true natural mineral specimen, transformed into an object to wear without losing its original identity.
