Natural, rarer Padparadscha sapphire – Rough crystal with...

This exceptional rough crystal of a Padparadscha sapphire already in the untreated state shows that rare and valued color mix of rose, salmon, and a delicate violet shimmer, which makes this gemstone sought after worldwide. Under strong light the stone seems to glow: bright pink to pinkish-red zones spread from the inside out and impart it an impressive depth, reminiscent of glowing mineral veins in the Earth's interior. The crystal form is still clearly recognizable, with matte, natural growth facets that authentically preserve its formation in the earth. When turning the piece, finest color gradients, small inclusions, and mineral structures reveal themselves—all of which makes this rough stone a characterful one-of-a-kind piece, as rarely found. Padparadscha sapphires belong to the most valuable members of the corundum family, and rough crystals in this size and color quality are especially sought after, both by collectors and by lovers of extraordinary gemstones. This piece combines the natural primality of an uncut mineral with the intense, almost magical color of a true gemstone and acts like a silent heart of light and embers.
