Natural larimar

Larimar cabochon with turtle-skin patterns, among the most sought-after, set in a rhodium-plated sterling silver setting. Larimar is a rare stone, exclusively mined in the Dominican Republic. Its blue hues evoke tropical waters. Traditionally, it is said to have been born from mermaids' tears. In lithotherapy, it is attributed soothing virtues: peace of mind, inner calm, relaxation. It would help calm strong emotions, communicate more harmoniously, and express oneself more clearly. The setting is produced by lost-wax casting, without a classic prong setting. As a result, there are organic drips and a rough texture: a unique piece, impossible to reproduce identically. Rhodiation is a thin layer of rhodium, a precious metal in the platinum family. It protects the silver from oxidation and gives it a bright, intense white shine. Real photographs, what you see is what you receive. Delivered in a gift box. 1. Secure shipment with tracking number. 2. Shipped twice a week. For Europe and international destinations, delivery times may vary from 8 to 15 days depending on the destination and customs clearance delays at the borders. 3. All my stones are genuine, untreated in color, resin, or plastic. They have all been carefully selected, but as they are natural and artisanal products, they may sometimes show small imperfections. 4. The listed size includes the bale. The chain shown in the photo is not included in the sale; it is a presentation accessory. 5. The photos were taken with appropriate lighting to faithfully reproduce the natural colors of the stone. 6. Unlike an industrial piece, an artisanal gemstone and silver piece made by hand—even of high quality—may show slight marks or traces that attest to its authenticity. 7. Please examine the photographs carefully; they are an integral part of the description. Thank you for your interest and happy bidding.
