This lot includes both the classic issues under Queen Victoria (1860–1895) and the later series under King Edward VII (1902–1904). All stamps are neatly presented on mounted pages and accompanied by detailed handwritten annotations with Scott catalog numbers and catalog values. Main highlights in this lot: 1. Queen Victoria issues (1860–1895): 1860: SG 8 (note €95) and SG 9 (note €60). 1862/1863: SG 14 (6d, note €75) and SG 10 (2x, note €35). 1869: SG 36 (6d, note €120) – a rarer classic specimen. 1874: SG 57 (5 shillings purple/red) – featuring a beautiful and very sharp circular date stamp "DURBAN / AP 22 1901 / NATAL" (note €42). 1881 Postage due stamp: Natal Telegraphs 1 Penny (SG TT) – unused. 1870–1895: Extensive series with various values (1d, 2d, 2½d, 3d, 6d, 1 Shilling), duplicates and unused specimens (e.g. 1891 SG 78 unused, note €12). 2. King Edward VII issues (1902–1904): High values (1902): 1 Shilling (1S) olive/black (SG 94 series). 5 Shillings (5S) carmine/blue with neat circular date stamp (note €25). 1902 series: Including several values from ½d to 6d, including perfins/limited cancellation specimens (e.g. SG 83 ½d, note €6) and ‘Preecurred/Precanceled’ stamps. 1904 series: Complete range of lower values (½d, 1d, 2d) in blocks/strips. Quality and Condition: The stamps are predominantly in fine classic condition (postally used and some unused). Please review the many detailed overview and close-up photos carefully to form a good personal impression of the quality, perforation, and the special postmarks.
