Murano - Sculpture

This decorative butterfly-shaped sculpture in Murano glass is a lively and refined artisanal work, distinguished by the famous Arlecchino decoration and precious 24 kt gold leaf inclusions embedded inside. The piece is handmade in authentic Murano glass. The wings, shaped with broad and dynamic forms, are entirely decorated with the Arlecchino technique: a dense composition of multicolored tesserae in shades of red, cobalt blue, yellow, orange, emerald green, lime green, sky blue, pink, black and milk white. The tesserae, elongated during the hot-working process, radiate from the body toward the ends, while thin white filaments cross the surface, creating depth, movement and evocative color effects. The central body of the butterfly, separately shaped in transparent crystal, is made with the submerged technique: the 24 kt gold leaf is enclosed inside the glass and gives the composition warm luminous reflections, while the abdomen is embellished with elegant bands in black, white and yellow. The antennae, also hand-worked and illuminated by golden reflections, complete the figure and emphasize its artisanal character. The distinctive opening of the wings, raised and slightly curved, gives the sculpture a sense of lightness and movement, while the combination of the Arlecchino color explosion and the sparkle of gold makes each piece unique and original. This butterfly is ideal as a decorative element, a collectible object or a refined gift idea. The work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, confirming its provenance and originality.
