Die erste Ausgabe dieser Dissertation über die Zwangmühlen erschien 1678.- Mühlzwang ist das herrschaftliche Recht, die Inanspruchnahme einer bestimmten Mühle von den Untertanen zu erzwingen sowie die Verbindlichkeit der Untertanen, diesen Anspruch zu erfüllen (Dt. Rechtswörterbuch IX, Spalten 953). Somit erhielt der Müller eine Monopolstellung, musste jedoch von seinen Einnahmen meist einen Großteil an den Grundherren abführen.- Titel etwas stockfleckig. The first edition of this dissertation on compulsory mills appeared in 1678.- Compulsory milling is the lord's right to enforce the use of a specific mill by his subjects, as well as the subjects' obligation to fulfill this demand (German Legal Dictionary IX, column 953). Thus, the miller received a monopoly, but usually had to hand over a large part of his income to the lord of the manor.- Title slightly foxed.
