Moving Forward - Karen Hansen

Moving Forward by Karen Hansen Painting 22.0 x 30.0 :: Extreme contrast and dramatic movement have inspired this powerful abstracted landscape depicted in a multitude of blues and greens. It has been created using layers of transparent translucent and opaque pigments search of radiance depth and complexity. It is painted in acrylic on archival watercolor paper. Before painting gesso was applied to the surface of the paper. This forms a resist allowing the acrylic pigment to remain on the surface of the substrate. The result is colors that glow and remain intense. The piece is offered unframed. :: Type: Painting Medium: Acrylic Style: Abstract Subject: Landscape Width: 22.0 Height: 30.0 Depth: 0.1 Weight: 1 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
