Globidens fossil jaw — Morocco An interesting fossil jaw section attributed to Globidens, a genus of marine mosasaur known for its bulbous, rounded teeth, adapted to crush hard-shelled prey. The piece comes from Morocco, in the Sidi Chennane (Sidi Shennan) area, a region known for its important Cretaceous marine vertebrate deposits. The fossil preserves several globular-looking teeth embedded in the jaw, as well as part of the bony structure. It shows attractive natural preservation, with the mineralized surface and different tones typical of the fossilization process. Species/genus: Globidens sp.
