Montblanc - Soulmakers for 100 Years - Limited Edition 1906 - Pen

A0000005824 MONTBLANC SOULMAKERS FOR 100 YEARS LIMITED EDITION 1906 (YEAR 2006): We present at auction an exceptionally rare collectible piece. In 2006, to celebrate its 100th anniversary (1906-2006), Montblanc launched the exclusive collection "Soulmakers for 100 Years". This edition, strictly limited to 1906 units worldwide, pays the greatest homage to the origins of the legendary German manufacture. Historical Design and Materials: The design of this fountain pen is a love letter to Montblanc’s early safety pens from the early 20th century. The body and cap are crafted in a superb speckled material in black and gray tones that perfectly emulates vulcanized ebonite (hard rubber) used in 1906. This vintage vibe is completed with a rounded “dome” style cap crowned by the iconic white star, and a sober, elegant clip with a classic cut, all finished in bright platinum-plated plating. Exclusive Numeration: This is an extremely hard-to-find limited edition. This piece is number 0944 / 1906, as can be seen in the sharp laser engraving on the upper ring of the cap, a number that matches the metal plaque of the issue. Condition (Expert Review) Bidders are asked to closely examine the photo gallery to verify the impeccable condition (NOS / Unused) of the item: Body and Cap: The speckled material is immaculate, retaining factory polish and gloss with no cracks, dents, or scratches. Fittings: The retro clip and the platinum-plated rings are in perfect condition, with no wear or loss of finish. Writing: The twist mechanism operates with absolute smoothness and precision. Contents The piece is delivered with its spectacular "Full Set" of the special edition: includes the outer cardboard box, the luxurious black presentation case with the anniversary logo, the edition booklet, and the coveted solid metal plaque engraved with the limit "0944/1906". Shipping The lot will be carefully protected and securely packaged, with insured shipping for its full value and an international express tracking number.
