Montblanc - Meisterstück 146 (LeGrand) - FULL SET - Fountain pen

We are presenting at auction an alluring and highly sought-after Montblanc Meisterstück 146 (LeGrand) fountain pen, one of the most iconic and prestigious models of the German house, ideal for both the collection and elite use. The cigar-shaped, tapered body and the cap are crafted in fine, glossy black resin, enriched by an elegant contrast with the bright gold-plated details, including the clip and the three characteristic decorative rings. At the center of this extraordinary writing instrument sits the imposing two-tone gold nib, finely engraved with the classic motifs and the number 4810. The pen features the traditional, reliable piston-filling mechanism, accompanied by the classic transparent window for monitoring the ink level. The cap top is crowned by the unmistakable white star emblem. The conservation state of this specimen is rated as in excellent overall condition, preserving its full mechanical functionality and a splendid luster. In strict compliance with our policy of total transparency and as clearly visible in the macro photographic documentation, only very light and entirely normal micro-scratches on the resin and on the gold-plated parts are noted, resulting from careful and normal prior use that in no way detracts from the magnificent aesthetics of the object. To further enhance this extraordinary lot, making it perfect as a prestigious gift idea or to enrich a collection, the pen is offered in the sought-after Full Set configuration: it is indeed accompanied by its elegant original Montblanc rigid box.
