Montblanc - Great Characters Albert Einstein Limited Edition 3000

Description: A Limited Edition Montblanc fountain pen from the 'Great Characters' series, made as a tribute to Albert Einstein (1879-1955), the German-born Swiss-American theoretical physicist, philosopher and author who is commonly regarded as one of the greatest scientists and the founder of general relativity. As for the fountain pen, the platinum casing of the Albert Einstein Limited Edition 3000 glows with the soft light of a distant star, while the dark blue lacquer of the cap evokes the velvet darkness of the infinite universe. The grid on the cap is inspired by Einstein's general theory of relativity and curves around the platinum-gilded ball on the clip, just as the light of a distant object in space would be bent by a star or a galaxy in the foreground in what we today call gravitational lensing. The casing is engraved with Einstein's key formulas and the nib, made of 18-karat rhodium-plated gold, is engraved with the element that bears his name: Einsteinium. The fountain pen comes in the original box, a booklet, an unused Montblanc ink pot with blue ink in its original packaging, and a small hardcover book with Einstein's famous quotes.
