Montblanc - Étoile de Montblanc - FULL SET - Pen

We present at auction an authentic jewel of writing, a true sculpture to hold in your hand: the Montblanc Étoile de Montblanc Ballpoint Pen. This exclusive model stands out for its fluid, sinuous and exceptionally feminine design, inspired by pure elegance and conceived to offer a sensory and visual experience of unparalleled refinement. The body and the cap are masterfully crafted in Montblanc’s famous black precious resin, whose smooth and deeply brilliant surface is shaped to create an ergonomic and captivating silhouette. To enhance this sophisticated aesthetic, luminous and generous details in solid metal finely plated in platinum provide a striking chromatic contrast. The distinctive and most valuable element of the entire collection is undoubtedly the cap’s summit: here, set inside a dramatic transparent resin dome, the Montblanc six-point star floats magically, but in this special edition the emblem is a true “Montblanc Diamond” cut diamond. On the ring of the refined clip, the individual serial number is clearly engraved, an indisputable guarantee of the piece’s authenticity. Technically, this prestigious instrument is configured as a ballpoint pen and is operated by a fluid and infallible twist mechanism. The photos of the disassembled piece confirm the perfect integrity of the internal brass structure and the precision of the threads, also showing the original refill inside, ready for use. The condition of this exemplar is to be considered good and used. As clearly demonstrated in the macro detail images, the item shows evident and widespread signs of prior use: there are micro-scratches and fine rubbing marks (hairlines) along the surface of the black resin, as well as opacities and small surface scratches on the platinum-plated metal portions, particularly on the lower cone. These details testify to the pen’s history of daily use and affection, but they do not compromise its solid structural integrity nor its perfect mechanical functionality in any way. A significant value-add for this lot is that the pen is offered complete with its original accessories, including the elegant Montblanc presentation box and the “Service Guide” booklet.
