We present at auction a true gem for collectors and music enthusiasts signed Montblanc: the prestigious Meisterstück ballpoint pen "Yehudi Menuhin" (ID 03778), belonging to the celebrated commemorative collection "Donation Pen" (Special Edition). This magnificent writing instrument is a tribute to the legendary violinist and conductor, combining the German maison's artisanal excellence with thematic details of unparalleled charm. The body and cap are masterfully crafted in Montblanc's classic black precious resin, elegantly contrasting with rich gold-plated finishes. The distinctive and most valuable element of this special edition is the extraordinary clip, finely sculpted in the shape of a violin neck and scroll. The wide gold band at the base of the cap is also embellished with the engraving of Yehudi Menuhin's original signature, thus celebrating the great Maestro's heritage. At the top the iconic six-point white star cannot be missing. In line with our usual and rigorous policy of total transparency, this lot notes two specific peculiarities: - The presence of a delicate personalized engraving with the initials "M.D.P." (done in an elegant cursive font), positioned on the cap next to the clip. - An evident localized mark/scratch on the resin of the cap, placed exactly adjacent to the upper gold ring of the clip (clearly documented and highlighted in the enlarged photo provided in the gallery). Net of this aesthetic detail, the condition of this specimen should be considered in good overall condition. The resin is shiny and solid, the gilding shines, and the twisting mechanism is smooth and perfectly functional.
