MONGOLIA. State Treasury. 5 Dollars, 1924. P-4r. Remainder. PCGS Currency

MONGOLIA. State Treasury. 5 Dollars, 1924. P-4r. Remainder. PCGS Currency About New 53. Famed for its beauty and unusual design, this series of State Treasury Notes from Mongolia is denominated in Mongolian Dollars, which were first introduced into circulation in 1921 (the 1921 series of 6% provisional obligations is extremely rare). In 1924, this series was prepared, which appears to have never been issued into circulation. A lightly (mis)handled piece that still presents well.
