Molteni – Tessuto d’Arredo Vintage Anni ’70 – Geometrie...

Molteni – Vintage of the 1970s – Large jacquard geometric damask curtain, 530 × 280 cm Fascinating vintage Molteni drapery fabric, Italian production from the 1970s, characterized by a refined jacquard weave with a tone-on-tone geometric motif. The surface is animated by an irregular sequence of small squares and geometric interlacings, obtained through different weave techniques. The pattern emerges delicately with the movement of the fabric and with changes in light, creating an elegant play between more opaque areas and parts that are slightly more luminous. The color is particularly beautiful, a delicate salmon/coral pink, warm and sophisticated, perfectly in tune with the taste of Italian interior design of the 1970s and today once again highly sought after in contemporary and vintage settings. The fabric has a beautiful drape and, thanks to the generous dimensions of about 540 × 280 cm, offers a substantial usable surface, ideal for creating scenographic draperies, large curtains, decorative panels, textile accessories, and vintage or design-inspired interior projects. An original decorative fabric of the era, interesting both for its use and for textile design enthusiasts of 20th-century Italy.
