An oval-shaped silver vessel. The fluted body rests on a pedestal decorated with water leaves. The plain neck is engraved with the monogram ‘TJF’ and adorned with the face of a laurelled man, from which the blackened wooden handle extends. Hallmarks of 1st standard, Brussels 1814–1831, and silversmith’s mark. Height: 13 cm. Gross weight: 308 g. (shows normal signs of wear and scratches; sold as is). Provenance: Galerie D’Haeseleer Y, Brussels, 11 April 1986.
