THE ARTIST: MICHAEL FANTOZZI Michael Fantozzi is an Italian-American artist born in Rome in 1984, raised between Italy and New York, and currently active in Santa Marinella, Italy. His artistic research begins with painting and the use of acrylic, evolving gradually towards three-dimensional works created through manual modeling of clay, the use of color, and the combination of different materials. His production is characterized by a recognizable language, in which artisanal care meets irony, material experimentation, and attention to environmental issues and the contradictions of society. Over the course of his career, Fantozzi has participated in important artistic events and received recognitions that have helped consolidate his exhibition path. Among the main experiences and recognitions are: Florence Biennale 2025, international event dedicated to contemporary art. Premio Cairo 2025: selection among the top 100 artists within the prize, with the work The X of Zorro. Excellence Italian Abroad, recognition received at the Chamber of Deputies, at Montecitorio. Tolentino Art Museum, where one of his works is permanently present. Apollo dionisiaco – Rome, with the work The Gardens of March, selected as finalist in the Art section.
