Michael Fantozzi - Little Fish #43

Michael Fantozzi is an international artist and the original creator of the famous sarcastic clay fish that are captivating collectors and enthusiasts around the world. From this iconic series the “Little Fish” works originate: unique creations, entirely handmade by the artist, one by one, without the use of molds, reproductions or industrial copies. Each fish is personally shaped by Michael Fantozzi in clay, making every piece absolutely unrepeatable. There is no other identical work in the world. Buying a Michael Fantozzi creation means possessing something authentic, rare and unobtainable: not a print, not a replica, but an original work shaped by the artist’s hands with hours of artisanal craftsmanship and maniacal attention to detail. For the realization of his works, Michael Fantozzi seeks carefully selected materials sourced from different parts of the world: from high-quality iridescent acrylics to the luminous zircons that embellish every detail, to the carefully chosen decorative elements to give character and uniqueness to each piece. Each material is chosen not only for its beauty but also for its ability to convey emotion, light and personality to the work. Michael Fantozzi’s works are today sold and collected internationally. Large installations and large-scale works have been exhibited at the Milan Biennale, the Rome Biennale, the Florence Biennale, and in numerous artist exhibitions and events across Europe. The artist has also been awarded in Montecitorio as Italian Excellence Abroad, a recognition that testifies to the international and cultural impact of his work. Michael Fantozzi was also selected and published in Mondadori’s historic magazine “ARTE” among the 100 most interesting contemporary Italian artists on the current scene, an important editorial acknowledgment that confirms the artistic and collecting value of his works. Presence in the ARTE magazine, a reference for collectors, gallery owners and enthusiasts in the field, further consolidated the artist’s notoriety in the Italian and European contemporary landscape, highlighting the originality of his artistic language and the communicative strength of his creations. Behind every work lurks a powerful and timely message: the denunciation of pollution, particularly marine pollution, told through an ironic, provocative and richly sarcastic visual language. Michael Fantozzi’s fish are decorated with symbolic elements such as cigarettes, chewing gum, bottles, cans and musical instruments, turning them into silent spokespersons for marine animals and the consequences of human impact on the planet. These works are not mere decorative objects: they are conversations to hang on the walls. An elegant and original way to talk about important themes like pollution that affects humanity, without giving up that touch of irony that makes each creation even more intense and memorable. Each work is titled, numbered and hand-signed by the artist and is accompanied by its certificate of authenticity. The artwork is delivered inside a refined closed frame box, designed to protect the piece from dust, shocks and external elements, while enhancing it as a true collectible artwork. The frame is supplied ready to hang, immediately transforming the piece into an exclusive element for your home or space. Shipping is carried out with professional and protective packaging, designed to ensure maximum safety during transport.
