Micaella Castrubin - A Geometry of Instinct

«A Geometry of Instinct» Artist: Micaella Castrubin Dimensions: 103 × 103 cm Medium: Mixed media on canvas Style: Contemporary art, geometric abstraction «A Geometry of Instinct» is a work of great visual impact in which the artist Micaella Castrubin transforms geometry into a language of emotions, intuition, and creative freedom. The composition presents a universe of geometric shapes, circles, triangles, and structures that seem to dialogue with each other, creating a balance between order and spontaneity. Its intense color palette, dominated by vibrant greens, deep reds, purples, and orange accents, conveys energy, vitality, and movement. The incorporation of small three‑dimensional elements, textures, and meticulous details adds a tactile dimension that invites the viewer to approach and discover new meanings. Each figure appears to be part of its own symbolic system, where shapes, colors, and materials relate as elements of an intuitive visual language. The work invites reflection on the coexistence of rational structure and instinctive creativity, between the calculated and the unexpected. Through this combination, Castrubin builds an abstract universe that allows multiple interpretations and establishes a personal dialogue with the observer. «A Geometry of Instinct» is a celebration of color, imagination, and freedom of expression. A piece that turns geometry into emotion and demonstrates how art can transform seemingly simple forms into a universe filled with energy, mystery, and meaning.
