Large primitive oil lamp dating from the Bronze Age, the first known model of oil lamp. Clay-fired lamps, commonly called cup-shaped lamps, are the earliest known types. Dating: from 1300 to 1200 BC. Dimensions: length 6.8 cm x width 6.2 cm Perfect condition Provenance: Switzerland, G.V.E. gallery. Previously: private Swiss collection since at least 1977.
