Meroni - Giulio Moscatelli - Dining table - Wood

Mid-century dining table, designed by Giulio Moscatelli for Meroni. This piece of Italian design, dating from 1964, is made of precious wood with visible grain on the circular top and supported by a sculptural column base in hexagonal form that widens toward the bottom, recalling the tulip style typical of the era. It is an extremely rare piece. The circular top is fixed by screwing it clockwise onto a central threaded pin located at the center of the base, as shown in the photo. Weight: 54 kg. Table edge thickness: 5 cm. Base width: 78 cm. It has a nick on the edge of the top, as highlighted in the photo. It will be transported on a pallet.
