Megalodon tooth - Fossil tooth - Otodus Megalodon - 12.21 cm

In this lot: A wide upper anterior Megalodon tooth. This tooth sat in the front upper side of the jaw of the greatest shark that ever lived! There are only three upper anterior teeth at one time in the mouth of this shark. That makes anterior teeth a little rarer than lateral teeth. This tooth has a beautiful symmetrical crown. The enamel is nicely preserved. There is almost no chipping on the edges and the serrations are still very visible. The tip is complete with serrations. Which is not so common for teeth from this area. The nice root together with the nicely curved crown gives this tooth a very nice appearance. In this price category this is one of the nicer teeth to come along. This tooth was found in North Carolina USA and is authentic, unrestored and 100% in the form it was found in. As in all my auctions, this tooth has a very reasonable reserve price. Thank you for bidding! The photos are an integral part of the description and speak for themselves. Due to import tax and high risks in losing parcels I will NOT ship to United States unfortunately. Stand not included. M26083
