MEDSAN - Grendizer Facing Saturn (土星を望むグレンダイザー) - UNIQUE WORK

THERE IS ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD - EDITION 1/1 In this vertical format, Medsan places Goldorak, the giant robot from Go Nagai (UFO Robot Grendizer, Toei), on the edge of a rocky ridge, facing Saturn. We see him from behind, standing with his legs apart, fists closed along his body, the golden horns of his helmet raised against the sky. His white, black and red silhouette is the only bright color touch in the landscape, and it looks tiny before what he contemplates. For the planet fills the top of the frame: an immense globe striped with beige and blue bands, diagonally crossed by its rings, which exit the frame to the left as to the right. The night blue sky is studded with stars. In front of the robot extends a gray ground pocked with craters, up to a jagged horizon of mountains. A cream border with cut corners frames the entire scene. Night blue, beige, gray and a few touches of red compose the palette. A solitary guardian at the end of the known world. A unique and contemplative piece, ideal for bringing a sense of the wide open seas and nostalgia to a collector’s interior faithful to Goldorak.
