Islamic Bronze Ring with Geometric Bezel – Seljuk Period – 11th to 13th Century AD A medieval Islamic bronze ring attributed to the Seljuk period, featuring a broad oval bezel decorated with a carefully incised geometric composition formed by radiating linear motifs and angular elements arranged around a central point. The substantial hoop and integrated shoulders give the piece a robust construction characteristic of medieval Islamic personal jewellery, while the abstract geometric ornament reflects the strong preference for non-figurative decoration within Islamic metalwork. The surface preserves an attractive green and brown archaeological patina with mineral deposits and wear consistent with age and prolonged burial.
