Mattel - Barbie doll - Crystal Barbie African American - 1980-1990

Splendid and rare vintage collectible lot: Crystal Barbie African American (Crystal Barbie), produced by Mattel in 1983 (Model Code #4859) in Taiwan, part of the famous and beloved Superstar Era. This African American version is decidedly rarer and more sought after by collectors than the classic blonde variant. The doll wears her iconic original evening gown, characterized by iridescent white fabric with shifting hues and a voluminous tulle ruffle at the hem, completed by the original fuchsia waist sash.
