Martinelli Luce - Elio Martinelli - Desk lamp - Flex 659 - Plastic

A vintage Martinelli Luce 'Flex 659' desk lamp, designed by Elio Martinelli and manufactured by the Italian company Martinelli Luce from Lucca. The design was originally intended for an exhibition in Turin in 1973. Thanks to its functional, distinctive flexible arm, the light source can be positioned as desired. The lamp is mainly made of plastic and is accented by a few chrome-plated metal details and a practical desk clamp for mounting. The inside of the shade features a ribbed aluminum reflector that ensures directed and efficient light distribution. Dimensions: maximum height 100 cm. Shade diameter 15 cm. Cable length 215 cm. Condition: The lamp is in reasonably good vintage condition (some cracks, stains and discolorations in the plastic) and is fully functional. The original finish shows a patina typical of the lamp’s age and use. Shipped insured. Pickup in Hoofddorp, Netherlands is possible.
