Marcello Dudovich - La Rinascente Articoli per Villeggiatura - 1930s

La Rinascente – “Articoli per villeggiatura” – Marcello Dudovich – 50 × 35 cm An image rich in charm, capable of evoking the elegance of Italian holidays of a bygone era. This poster reproduces the advertising composition by **Marcello Dudovich** for La Rinascente, dedicated to the “Articoli per villeggiatura.” The protagonist is a female figure engaged in waterskiing: the red scarf in the wind, the elongated pose, and the contrast between the swimsuit and the waves create a dynamic and refined scene. In the background, a wooden motorboat and the reliefs framing the water complete an atmosphere of sport, sun, and carefree days. The large inscription “La Rinascente” dominates the upper part, while the signature **M. Dudovich**, reproduced in the bottom right, completes the composition. A subject that expresses Dudovich’s taste for the female figure, fashion, and the elegance of Italian advertising communication. Printed on **semigloss paper**, in a format of **about 50 × 35 cm**. **Good overall condition**, with clear horizontal and vertical folds, creases, small abrasions and some torn edges along the margins, especially on the left side and where the folds occur. Signs present at the corners, as documented in the photographs. The image preserves a pleasant decorative rendering and is fully legible. A print of great personality, ideal to frame for a seaside home, a study, or a space dedicated to design and advertising graphics.
