Regularly exhibited in Parisian salons, his ink washes, oils and etchings attracted keen interest from art lovers of the time. His promising career was abruptly cut short by his premature death at the age of 28 in Nice. Today, his works remain in private collections and public institutions, such as the Musée des Beaux-Arts d’Angers.
